How to Mod and add a picture for Steam Workshop
1) Open pack file manager. Download from the link if needed https://sourceforge.net/projects/packfilemanager/
2) Hover over (Game) at the top left and pick what game you're modding.
3) Hover over (File) and click new.
4) Right click anywhere in the white area on the left of the screen, and click Add – From Pack.
It should automatically navigate to where you have Warhammer installed
5) Select (Data.pack).
6) Time to mod :)
7) We will quickly do a bit of mod polishing here. Click the Postprocess button – Rename – Rename All and add a prefix to your mod.
8) then save your mod and play!
How to add picture to mods
1) picture has to be 256x256 and 1mb use: https://www.resizepixel.com/ to edit your pictures to the right format and size.
2) It is fairly easy.
Go to your Documents folder, then /Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod and click on the .mod file that is named after your mod.
At the end of the file, add picture = "[name of the thumbnail you want to add].png".
Now go into your mod's folder (just the first one -- not the common or defines folders), and put the image you want to have as a thumbnail into that folder (the thumbnail image must be under 1 MB in size).
